About

I began studying piano when I was 16 years old, and after winning a local music competition I was advised to audition for Junior Guildhall.

It was a really inspiring place to learn but also quite overwhelming for someone who had so little experience. I learnt from that time that music shouldn’t be stressful and because of this, I aim to create a relaxed environment for my students to learn in that highlights all the joy of music and allows them to flourish.

I still take lessons myself, and work very hard to develop my  skills as a pianist and teacher. I Have a performance diploma from Trinity college London, and have studied with many world renowned pianists, most notably Penelope Roskell.

I also attend weekly lessons in Alexander Technique with Gregg Isaacson taking what I learn there and applying it to the instrument.

There is an incredible depth to music, and the desire to understand and improve fuels my studies and the lessons I give.
